About me

I have a passion for networks, infrastructure and Open Source OS’s / FOSS, and have broad experience within the IT field:

• Linux and Windows infrastructure
• Networking
• Hosting / MSP
• ISP
• Security.

That has led me towards technologies many areas of Open Source and Microsoft technologies in my spare time. Since 2008 I’ve worked mostly at MSPs/consultancy firms though. The main focus has always been Microsoft technologies (including Microsoft 365 and Azure when that matured), but somehome my passion for networks always lands me as the one responsible for the networks.

I love to learn and enjoy studying for certifications to expand my knowledge. The most prominent certifications are probably CISSP and CCSP from ISC2, which I gained in 2019 and 2022 respectively. In 2020-2024 I focused on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 certifications and gained a lot of them, all the way from foundation to expert level.

I’m not quite sure what the next adventure will be. For now, I think I have more than enough Microsoft certifications that fits my profile and supports my daily work. On the more “just for fun” side of things - I passed eJPT from eLearnSecurity in 2021 as I’ve always thought “hacking” and penetration testing would be fun - but I never pursued it professionally. I might continue down the path of penetration testing from either TCM security or eLearnSecurity some day.

I currently work as a Cloud Architect with focus on Azure and Security. Besides the consultancy work, I joined my companys CCoE (Cloud Center of Excellence) as “Tech Lead” - representing Azure and Security. That allows me to help develop and mature the business - seeing things in a broader perspective.
